Claim-to-source matrix

The matrix makes the taxonomy’s evidence chain inspectable without presenting report-derived synthesis as independently verified fact.

Traceability is not acceptance. Every claim points to one or more selected references, but those links preserve report provenance and bounded support. They do not establish human review, legal currentness, or full-corpus independent re-verification.

Matrix contract

Scope labels travel with each statement.

The release distinguishes report-derived synthesis, evidence classifications, examples or allegations as labelled, prospective risks, limitations, research gaps, and governance guidance. A technical demonstration is not treated as prevalence, and reach is not treated as persuasion.

CopyCop Confirmed AI-assisted coordinated network A network of news-like sites rewrote and distributed politically slanted content at scale. Investigators documented model artifacts, self-hosted generation, and a broad site network. Production scale and search/distribution presence increased. The degree of organic persuasion and the autonomy of coordination remain uncertain.
